Call for Panel Session Proposals

IEEE ISIE 2027 welcomes proposals for Panel Sessions designed to stimulate strategic discussion, expert debate and high-level exchange between leading voices from academia, industry, institutions, standardization bodies and the wider industrial electronics community.

Panel Session Proposals

Shape strategic discussions on the future of industrial electronics

Panel Sessions provide a dedicated format for discussing major challenges, emerging technologies, industrial deployment, policy questions, standardization issues, societal impact and future research priorities in industrial electronics.

Proposals are especially encouraged when they address topics connected to the conference theme: Industrial Electronics at the Crossroads of Energy and Digital Transitions. Panels should bring together complementary perspectives and create meaningful interaction with the ISIE 2027 audience.

Panel proposals may be academic, industrial, institutional or cross-sectoral. Strong proposals should clearly define the topic, the key questions to be discussed, the proposed moderator, the panelists, the intended audience and the expected value for conference participants.

What is a Panel Session?

A Panel Session is a moderated discussion involving a small group of invited experts addressing a timely question, strategic challenge or emerging direction relevant to the IEEE ISIE 2027 community.

Unlike a standard technical paper session, a panel is intended to encourage debate, comparison of viewpoints, practical insight, audience interaction and forward-looking reflection. It should help participants better understand current challenges and future opportunities.

Thematic Alignment

Panel proposals may address any strategic topic within the scientific and industrial scope of IEEE ISIE 2027, including massive electrification, smart grids, renewable energy, power electronics, electrical machines, industrial AI, robotics, sensing, cyber-physical systems, factory automation, resilient infrastructures, cybersecurity, standards, sustainability and human-centered industrial systems.

Panels are particularly welcome when they connect technology, industry, policy, standardization, education, safety, resilience and societal impact in the context of the energy transition and the intelligent digital transition.
