How to Reach the Conference Centre
The conference venue is easily accessible via the Paris public transport network, offering fast and reliable connections from all major arrival points.
- Metro: Lines 7 and 10 — Jussieu station (approximately 4 minutes walking distance).
- Important: do not exit at Cluny-La Sorbonne, which corresponds to a different campus.
- Bus: Lines 63, 67, 86, 87, and 89 serve the surrounding area.
- Taxi / Ride-hailing: Direct access to 4 Place Jussieu, 75005 Paris.

From the Airports — Step by Step
Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) — ~40 min via RER B
- Terminal 1: take the free CDGVAL shuttle to Roissypôle, then board RER B towards Paris.
- Terminal 2: take RER B from the station between Terminals 2D and 2F.
- Terminal 3: walk to the RER B station at Roissypôle.
Depending on the time of day, some RER B trains are direct to Paris while others stop at all suburban stations.
Alternative: BUS 9517 runs from Roissypôle to Saint-Denis Pleyel (with a bus ticket), then take metro line 14 (with a metro ticket) to reach Paris downtown
Orly Airport (ORY) — ~30 min via Metro 14
Take Metro line 14 from Terminal 3. A free bus shuttle connects Terminals 1-2-3 and Terminal 4.
If Metro 14 is disrupted:
Option A — Tramway T7 to Villejuif-Louis Aragon, then Metro line 7.
Option B — ORLYVAL shuttle to Antony, then RER B.
⚠ Practical Reminders
- Exit at Jussieu station, then walk approximately 4 minutes to the conference entrance.
- Do not exit at Cluny-La Sorbonne, which corresponds to a different campus.
- Metro/RER tickets and bus/tram tickets are not always interchangeable. Please check the current ticket rules before travelling.
- The Navigo Easy contactless card may be a practical option for visitors using public transport occasionally.
- If you arrived with a Paris Région Aéroports ticket, you may not be able to load another ticket on the same card until it has been used.
Identity Photo for Some Transport Passes
Some public transport passes or subscriptions may require a recent identity photo. Participants planning to buy a travel pass should consider bringing a recent passport-style photo and should check the official requirements on the RATP or Île-de-France Mobilités websites before travelling.
